ReUseIt Project: Hanger Basics

Metal Hanger

No supplies needed

Pliers with wire cutter

Twist open the hanger by holding the twist tight with the pliers and rotating the hanger in the opposite direction.  

To straighten the hanger,holding it at the point where you want to remove the bend, place the pliers just above bend and pull/bend the wire in the opposite direction.

 Repeat at all bend points.

If your not using the entire length of the wire,cut off the ends at the twists leaving just the straight piece.

Now your ready for one of the many hanger projects!
