| 1) This can be done sitting right in the living room (I did). First, find a picture of a butterfly or anything else you would like to paint... I got mine from a magazine; it was about 3” or so with some room to tape the edges. I used a piece of cardboard, about 8”x 8” for your project, cut a piece of plastic bag 6”x 6”. 2) Tape your picture to the cardboard by the corners. Cover the picture with the plastic bag. Mark a square about 3/4" from the pattern. Apply Mod Podge on the square pattern , 6 thin layers making sure each layer dries completely and you go over the same edges. |

| 3) Once it’s dry, start painting... I didn’t follow the same pattern as the pattern I found (too much detail)…just used it for the shape…I stroked the brush from the center with black and then filled in the rest with yellow and let dry. Then put on a top coat of Mod Podge and let dry. 4) Remove the finished piece by pealing up a corner until the whole thing lifts from the plastic. Cut out your work of art and stick the side that was on the plastic, right to a window, a mirror or even the frig! It will stick until you take it off, leaves no residue and can be moved over and over again! It’s so cool! |
